Hard-hitting Filipino Flyweight "The Silent Assassin" Miel Fajardo (7-1-2, 6 KO's) of San Francisco, Agusan del Sur, can't wait to trade heavy artillery against the tough "Avión" Agustín Mauro Gauto, the 24-year-old unbeaten warrior from the Land of Leo Messi.
Miel Fajardo and "El Avión" Gauto ("Avión" meaning "Airplane"), are set to clash on the ground in a non-title 8-rounder rumble set for Saturday, March 26, at the open-air Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Miel Fajardo will fly to "The City of Gold" Dubai provided that he complies with all the government requirements.
If all protocols go smoothly, then this will be the 4th time that the 22-year-old Miel goes abroad for battle.
His three prior ventures behind enemy lines have all been riveting victories. Good job!
Now Miel wants his 4th triumph overseas. Will he get it?
Yes, say his friends, relatives and fans in San Francisco and in Sampaloc, Manila, all supporting him, rooting for his total success.
Interestingly, the Fajardo vs Gauto clash is one of the supporting bouts for the main event headlined by the exhibition fight of popular Argentinian former champion Marcos "El Chino" Maidana against Uruguayan controversial Youtuber Yao Cabrera.
Maidana vs Cabrera is another of the trending, lucrative exhibition matches becoming more and more popular in boxing and entertainment with networks, promoters and big names jumping into the wagon.
Some fans likes them, some others don't, but it seems that exhibition fights are here to stay.
The complete 12-fight boxing show, including Maidana's thing, is set for March 26 in Dubai, U.A.E., promoted by Legacy Sports Management.
Best of luck to all boxers in their fights. May the Best Men Win!
