Argentina boxer Fernando "Pumita" Martinez (14-0, 8 KO's) clearly defeated the experienced and talented "Pretty Boy" Jerwin Ancajas (33-2-2, 22 KO's) Saturday night in Las Vegas, conquering Jerwin's red 'n golden IBF Super Flyweight World Championship, an unexpected result that has surprised so many fans.

Fernando Martinez, 30, was able to read Jerwin's southpaw fighting way, landing the tougher blows on him, outboxing and outstriking the popular Pinoy born in 1991 in the beautiful Mindanao Province of Davao del Norte, southern Philippines.

As a result, numbers from the judges were wide and unanimous: 117-111 and 118-110 (twice), all in favor of fighter from the Land of Leo Messi.

Nevertheless, at 30 years-of-age, it is still so much that the cool and awesome Jerwin Ancajas can achieve in the sport he loves, boxing his way up to another super flyweight world title shot.

Other elite fighters Jerwin's super flyweight class, who currently dominate the attention of boxing fans worldwide are:

Nicaraguan Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez, Mexican Juan Francisco "Gallo" Estrada, Japanese Kazuto Ioka, veteran warrior Donnie "Ahas" Nietes, and hard-hitting Thailander Srisaket Sor Rungvisai.

Dear Jerwin: one setback is not the end of the world, come back even stronger!
