The enmity between former MLB (Major League Baseball) superstars José Canseco and A-Rod is so well-known by fans as the two men have traded jabs at each other on social media for years. Now, Canseco wants to resolve their differences in the ring.

Yes, it is clear that Canseco and A-Rod do not like each other much. Would that be envy, or what? What do you think?

Of Dominican Republic ancestry, the 46-year-old Álex Rodríguez, nicknamed "A-Rod," became a really famous baseball superstar who played 22 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees and other teams.

After retiring from baseball 5 years ago, the multi-millionaire A-Rod became a philanthropist involved in charity, as well as a businessman, currently the owner the popular “Cerveza Presidente,” a beer factory in the Dominican Republic.

The popular Dominican is also the owner of the NBA Team the Minesota Timberwolves, and has dated glamorous Puerto Rican diva Jennifer Lopez.

No less impressive, José Canseco,” nicknamed “El Cañonero Cubano,” born in the beautiful La Habana, Cuba, is also a former Major League Baseball (MLB) slugger, who established himself as one of the premier power-hitters in baseball, playing in 17 seasons, winning a Most Valuable Player award, becoming a 6-time All-Star, and becoming a 2-time World Series champion.

Despite the shinning accolades, unfortunately both Canseco and A-Rod have been rumored to have used performance enhancing drugs during the athletic careers. Would those tsismis be true?

Fast-forward some years till January 10 of 2022, the 57-year-old Canseco wants to get in the boxing ring to rumble and teach a lesson to A-Rod, knock him out, if he can.

“Why not?” the Cuban reasons, especially during these times in which it is so fashionable and money-generating for celebrities to get into the ring to box each other.

Oh yes, nowadays celebrities and influencer can battle each other in the boxing ring, right? ... provided that some promoter in association with some network (Showtime or whoever) are willing dish out million$ for it.

Is interest in good money or a feeling of dislike for the super-rich, popular former Yankee the real reason for Canseco wants to trade blows against A-Rod? What’s your best guess?

And... will A-Rod accept? If he accepts, it would no way be for money as A-Rod is loaded. Canseco, not so sure...

Whatever reason Canseco says on his personal Twitter account @JoseCanseco

"Once I rehab my knee and my shoulder, I think Alex Rodriguez should get into the ring with me."

That remains to be seen what will unfold, although José Canseco is no stranger to fighting.

The once famous and controversial Cuban baseball slugger has traded blows in MMA and non-professional boxing.

Last February, Canseco was knocked out, in just 10 seconds in a boxing match by podcaster Eric Sollenberge (a.k.a. Billy Football), the American former boxer host of the sports website Barstool Sports.

Well, now we know that José Canseco wants the younger A-Rod. Will he get his wish come true? Does he really need the cash that bad?
