Davis (R) tags Cruz with a right.
In a tough, competitive 12-round clash, unbeaten WBA 135-pound (Regular) World Champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis (26-0, 24 KO's) was forced to rumble the whole distance in blow-by-blow action to win a unanimous decision against determined, game Mexican challenger Isaac "Pittbull" Cruz (22-2-1, 15 KO’s) Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angelas live on Showtime PPV.
Gervonta 'Tank' Davis retained his belt and preserved his immaculate record after winning a close fight against 'Pitbull' Isaac Cruz at the Staples Center in Los Angeles Sunday night.
But even though the war was exciting and lived up to expectations, Gervonta is not at all interested in giving Cruz the rematch.
“Hell no,” Gervonta affirmed.
Instead, the unbeaten “Tank” would love a lightweight unification rumble against Devin Haney, Ryan García or George Kambosos Jr.
For many fans, Gervonta against Loma or Teofimo would be exciting too.
Who would you like to see Gervonta up against next?
