Boxing continues hot in boxing-loving Panama with its exciting pro series “Guantes de Acero” (Gloves of Steel), featuring two action-packed WBO Regional title fights set to thrill fans this Friday, Dec 3, at Los Andes Mall in Panama City, Panama.
In the main event, 23-year-old slugger Jaime “Lethal Kid” Muñoz (11-1-1, 7 KO’s) of Panamá battles tough 22-year-old heavy-puncher Freddy Espinoza (10-2, 7 KO’s) from the Land of Alexis Arguello, Nicaragua, for the vacant WBO Latino Featherweight Title.
This high-octane rumble, pitting two young fighters with TNT in their fists seems highly probable to end by knockout. But who would stop who?
The co-main event will feature two young promising minimumweight southpaws, fighting to go one new level up as the winner will likely break into the WBO 105 lbs world-ranking:
Unbeaten rising-star Boricua Óscar “El Pulpilo” Collazo (3-0, 2 KO’s) of Villalba, Puerto Rico, draws swords against the more-experienced 22-year-old Pedro Villegas (13-1, 4 KO’s) of Ecuador for the vacant WBO NABO Minimumweight Strap.
Yes, Collazo vs Villegas for the NABO 105 belt, and who between them will want it more?
What’s more, in women’s action, beautiful Venezuela fight girl Luciana Ascanio takes on Colombian warrior Laura Wollrnman in a battle good-to-watch in the 115-pound division.
Moreover, Orlando “El Virus” Mosquera (6-1-1, 1 KO) squares off fearless 28-fight veteran Ivan “Tira Flecha” Trejos of David, Chiriquí, in an all-Panamanian affair in the super featherweight division.
5 more supporting bouts will thrill things even further for this Friday’s “Guantes de Acero” show promoted by Diego Victoria’s G & V Entertainment, aired live on Panama’s sports channel COS (Cable Onda Sports)
May the Best Men and Woman Win!
