Veteran Spanish featherweight "La Sensación" Kiko Martínez (43-10-2, 30 KO's) scored one of the most exciting KO's of 2021 in dismantling British-Qatari defending titlist Kid Galahad (28-2, 17 KO’s) Saturday night in Sheffield, England, live worldwide on DAZN.

The shorter, coming-forward Kiko – who came into the fight as the huge underdog – suffered a cut over the right eye in the 3rd round, a result of Galahad landing lefts.

But that blood did not diminish Kiko’s fighting spirit as two rounds later he rocked Galahad big with a huge overhead right hand late in the 5th chapter, cracking him hard down to the floor, the bell saving the British defending champ.

Coming out to the 6th, it seems that the brave Galahad hasn’t regained full control of his buzzing head as he quickly received another vicious power right thunder to the chin that decked him again backwards hard to the blue canvas where the ref waved the fight off, not even bothering to count.

The official time of the stoppage was 6 seconds of round 6; and the 35-year-old Kiko now wants more hot action, more thrilling wins.

With the thrilling TKO win, the fighter from Valencia, España, captured the red 'n golden IBF 126-pound belt, becoming champion of the world, adding another highlight victory to his 17-year pro boxing career.

Muy buena esa Kiko, felicitaciones, y que Viva España!
