Subriel Matias of Puerto Rico won by 8th round TKO over Batyrzhan Jukembayev of Khazakstan in the Oubaali-Donaire co-feature fight at Dignity Sports Park in Carson, CA Saturday night (Sunday in Manila) broadcast live on Showtime.
Matias smoothered the game Khazak with volume punches knocking down Jukembayev in the 4th round in the process. Although Jukembayev had his moments, it was not enough to put Matias in danger.
Matias drops Jukembayev in the 4th round.
Matias upped his record to 17-1-0, 17KOs while Jukembayev suffered the first loss of his career and dropped to 18-1-0, 14KOs.
