
First Rabu Rabu Chess Tournament for Women on February 12

The Cabuyao City Chess Club, in coordination with the United Queens Chess Club, Philippine Arbiters Chess Confederation and the National Chess Federation of the Philippines, is staging the first Rabu Rabu Chess Tournament for Women on February 12, 2021, (Friday) 7 pm on a virtual platform lichess.org.
Zoom is required during play in the nine-round Swiss System tournament according to Dr. Fred Paez.
"Open to all woman players who are in good standings with the National Chess Federation of the Philippines," said Dr. Paez.
Time control is 5 minutes per player.
The champion will receive P1,000 while the second P700, third P500, fourth P300 and fifth to tenth P200 each. The top Under 18, Under 16, Under 14, Under 12, Under 10, Under 8 and Under 6 will each earn P200.
