P25,000 Women's Invitational elimination tournament on February 7

Filipina chess players are ready to showcase their skills when the P25,000 winner take all Women's Invitational elimination tournament gets underway on February 7, 2021 (Sunday), 11am on a virtual platform lichess.org.
Among the invited players are WIM Jan Jodilyn Fronda, WIM Catherine Perena-Secopito, WIM Bernadette Galas, WIM Kylen Joy Mordido, WFM Cherry Ann Mejia, WFM Allaney Jia Doroy, WNM Jerlyn Mae San Diego, WNM Francois Marie Magpily, WCM Christy Lamiel Bernales, AGM Rowelyn Joy Acedo, AIM Alexandra Sydney Paez and WFM elect Antonella Berthe Racasa.
The winner in the elimination round will advance to the grand finals on February 14, 2021, and have the right to play for the P25,000 winner-take-all online chess tournament, first to win ten (10), draw is not counted using ten (10) minutes plus ten (10) seconds increment time control format.
All invited Female players (12 players) will receive P500 each with the champion getting the lion share of P2,000.
A time control of three (3) minutes plus two (2) seconds increment will apply in the elimination round via Swiss System format.
Organized by Bayanihan Chess Club, in coordination with the United Queens Chess Club and Cabuyao City Chess Club.-Marlon Bernardino-
