"King" Ryan Garcia Got Up from the Canvas to Stop Luke Campbell in 7

With a Terrific Body Shot to the liver in Round 7, "King" Ryan Garcia stopped tough Briton warrior Luke Campbell to claim the WBC Lightweight Interim Title tonight in Dallas, Texas, an exciting win that kicks off with fireworks 2021's boxing year.

It was a riveting victory for the hugely popular 23-year-old Mexican-American who had to overcome a tough visit to the canvas in chapter two to seal his first major title win at the championship level.

Power-punching and charismatic, Ryan Garcia displayed speed, power and heart, earning many more fans while setting the stage for more thrilling battles in this new year, possibly against unbeaten world titlist Devin Haney or Tank Davis.

One of Ryan's best pals, Mexican star Canelo Alvarez, was in ringside in Dallas, visibly thrilled by his amigo's stellar performance, which was promoted by Oscar de la Hoya, aired live worldwide on DAZN.
