
GM Balinas family offers P100K in an online chess tournament

Manila, Philippines---A whopping total P100,000 cash prizes are at stake for the winners in the Grandmaster (GM) and Attorney (Atty) Rosendo Carreon Balinas Jr. Free Registration Online Year Ender Chess Tournament on December 26 to 27, 2020 at the lichess.org.
The P100,000 cash prizes, a Philippine History, the biggest prize fund in this time of global pandemic crisis, sponsored by GM Rosendo Balinas Family.
Hosted by US based frontliner Dr. Joe Balinas and Engr. Antonio Carreon Balinas (Uncle Paps), both honorary chairman of the organizing Bayanihan Chess Club in cooperation with Mr. Fernan Donguines of Hybreed Apparel Collections in this 2-day event, free registration, free membership, online tournament.
On December 26, 2020, a kiddies 13 years old and below tournament, a total P25,000 are up for grabs with the winner getting the lion share of P5,000 while the following day on December 27, 2020, an Open tournament, open to all, regardless their sexes and ages, the prizes increase to P75,000 (from original prizes of P50,000) with the champion receiving P10,000.
To qualify for the prizes, all players must finish the game and they should not withdraw in the said chessfest.
To observe play fair policy, Computer Assistance, Human Assistance and Piloting is strictly prohibited.
If a player violates the lichess terms of service with it, his/ her prizes will go to Bayanihan Chess Club Welfare fund.-Marlon Bernardino-
