
Julieta Cardozo, Nazarena Romero make Weight for Interim WBA 122 World Title in Argentina

Unbeaten Argentina lady warrior Nazarena "Capricho" Romero of Córdoba and compatriot Julieta Andrea "La Zorrita" Cardozo of Jujuy made weight without problems as the two women headline for the interim WBA Super Bantamweight world title Saturday, December 5, at the Club de Ajedrez in La Calera, Córdoba, Argentina.
The taller Cardozo was the first woman to step on the scale at the Argentine Mining Workers Association (AOMA) La Calera headquarters, weighing-in at 121.9 pounds (55.3 Kgs). Romero was next, making 121.5 lbs (55.1 kilos).
The show is a promotion of Sampson Lewkowicz and Tello Box with the support of the Agencia de Deportes de Córdoba, the Municipality of La Calera and Agustino Cueros.
