The Till I Met You (TIMY) group chat headed by it's founding head International Master Angelo Young is staging the 2nd Redar Cedar Online Chess Championship (Non-Master Edition) on November 11, 2020, Wednesday, 7pm at Lichess.org.
Open to all non-masters with NCFP rating of U-2200. Time control is 3 minutes plus 2 seconds increment in the 1 day event backed up by Captain Elmer Cruz ,CE Piramide,4/O Richard Belarmino and Angel Nikko Nieves.
The champion will receive P700 while the second P400, third P300 and fourth P200. Fifth to Eight will each earn P100.
Special prizes P200 each for the Top PECA executive, 200, Kiddies 14 years old and below, Frontliner, PWD and Senior 50 years old and above.
"Registration fee is P50 and part of the proceeds will go to the family of my long time friend Fide Master Patrick Yee who recently passed away due to Illness," said Young, an 8-time Illinois, USA chess champion.
"Top 20 Qualifies in December Finals together with titled players," he added.
