In a hot civil war between Mexican unbeaten southpaws, the always hard-swinging former world champion Luis “Pantera” Nery (30-0, 24 KO’s) engages in battle tough compatriot aron Alameda (25-0, 13 KO’s) for the vacant WBC Super Bantamweight World Title this Saturday, September 26, @ the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut, USA.
The two Mexican 122-pounders will rumble for the vacant WBC crown because Mexican champ Rey Vargas suffered a leg injury that will keep him away from the ring action for at least 8 months, for which Vargas was placed as “Champion in Recess.”
Then, Nery and Alameda were the chosen ones to contest the vacant WBC Super Bantamweight Belt, and who will be the Winner..??
In his Twitter account, the 25-year-old “Pantera” Nery assured to his fans that “Tijuana tendrá nuevo campeón." (Tijuana will have a new champion) Will that happen..??
In reply, Alameda, from the border City of Nogales in the Mexican State of Sonora, said with conviction:
“Estoy listo para ofrecer un gran espectáculo este Sábado. Después de vencer a Luis Nery, todos sabrán quien soy.” (I am ready to put on a great show this Saturday. After beating Luis Nery, everyone will know who I am).
As of now, fans who bet money in Las Vegas or elsewhere are putting their hard-earned bucks on the more-known, more popular, more-accomplished Nery.
That’s an interesting indicator and we shall see what unfolds as the undefeated Alameda, 27, is also a tough, well-trained, glory-hungry warrior with plans of his own, thirsty for VICTORY.
The thrilling all-Mexican world-title fight is one of the supporting bouts for this Saturday’s awesome card at the Mohegan Sun. ☀️
The hot show is promoted by Premier Boxing Champion, live on Showtime PPV.
Nery vs Alameda in awesome Super Bantamweight action. May the Best Man Win..!! 🥊
