WBA Light Flyweight "Super Champion" Hiroto Kyoguchi (14-0, 9 KO's) of Osaka, Japan, will make the third defense of his golden & black 108-pound belt against the fists of Thailand's undefeated WBA #11 challenger Thanongsak Simsri (14-0, 12 KO's) on Tuesday, November 3, at the International Exhibition Center (INTEX) in Osaka, Japan.

The Kyoguchi vs Simsri battle was confirmed in a presser by the fight's promoter, veteran Japanese man of boxing Hitoshi Watanabe, head of Watanabe Boxing Promotions.

During the presser, Kyoguchi stood beside a life-size poster of his challenger, inviting boxing fans to watch the show, promising a victory.

A rising star in Japan boxing, the two-division world champion Hiroto Kyoguchi, 26, claimed his 108-pound super title by knocking out veteran South African standout Hekkie Budler (32-4, 10 KO's) in December of 2018.

Then, displaying boxing talent, speed and orthodox skilled moves, Kyoguchi made two successful defenses, outclassing Thai challenger Tanawat Nakoon (11-1, 5 KO's) and Japanese compatriot Tetsuya Hisada (34-10-2, 20 KO's).

Prior to capturing the WBA Light Flyweight super crown, the 5′4″ Kyoguchi reigned as IBF minimumweight world champion, dethroning Mexican Jose Argumedo, overpowering Nicaraguan slugger Carlos "Chocorroncito" Buitrago and outclassing Filipino Vince Paras.

In sharp contrast, the 20-year-old challenger Thanongsak Simsri, despite his undefeated 14-0 record, hasn't battled anyone near the quality of the above-mentioned names.

That's why the former Muay Thai combatant, might want to bet all his chips on slugging it out against Kyoguchi. Because it is doubtful that the younger Thai fighter could match the outstanding, matured boxing skills and technique packed by the far more-experienced and confident Japanese super champion. But we shall see.

Boxing fans outside Japan can watch the fight live on the Youtube channel of Hiroto Kyoguchi.

There will be other bouts in that November 3 boxing card, but Kyoguchi's title fight will start exactly at 5:30 pm (Japan time UTC +9). May the Best Man Win!
