FM "Bbking" Nouri rules Espana Chess Club online chess tourney

Manila---Fide Master (FM) Alekhine "Bbking" Nouri ruled via tiebreak the Jerick Concepcion Faeldonia Birthday Online chess tournament held Wednesday night at lichess.org.

The 14 years old Nouri, tied for first-second places with Arena Grandmaster (AGM) Henry Roger Lopez 8.5 points apiece in the 2 minutes plus one minute time control event organized by Espana Chess Club top honcho engineer Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia.

Nouri is fresh from a magnificent performance in the BATCH-Barangays Achieving Through Chess last June 22, backed up by BATCH Founder and former NCFP Director Eduardo "Ed" Madrid in close cooperation with Makati City Central Eagles Club and Rublou Group of Companies.

With the highest tiebreak points, Nouri took the title while Lopez finished second.

Rounding up the top 10 winners were Rowel Roque (3rd); Rudolph Valentino (4th); Jaymarc Gutierrez (5th); National Master (NM) Jasper Rom (6th); Jhulo Goloran (7th); Alfredo Balquin Jr. (8th); National Master (NM) Gerardo "Gerry" Cabellon (9th); and Genghis Imperial (10th).

Also receiving special awards in the recent free registration tournament were Arena Grandmaster (AGM) Marlon Bernardino (Top 2000 below); (Vincent Constantino) Top 1800 below; Ericka Ordizo;( Top U12); Luzzel Dacayo (Top Lady); James Infiesto (Top PWD).
