AGM Suelo eyes another chess title in Singapore

Arena Grandmaster (AGM) Robert Suelo Jr. will be seeking another chess title in Singapore before year ends.
The 1996 Philippine Junior Champion and former top player of Barangay Malamig, Rizal Technological University Chess Team in Mandaluyong City is competing at the Asean Chess Academy (ACA) Christmas rapid chess championship on December 22, 2019 at the Upper Bukit Timah Road, Timah Shopping Centre in Singapore.
Fondly called "Nonoy" (which means a kid) in the chess world described himself as ready and confident. "I am ready," he said.
He is also scheduled to play in the January 5 New Year Rapid and January 19 Leong@64 Rapid chess championship.
Suelo is fresh from winning the 3rd KIMMA Open Chess Tournament 2019 held at the Metro Mall PUDU, Fraser Business Park, Jalan PUDU 2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last November 17, 2019.
Suelo is an active member of the International Churches of Christ in Singapore.-Marlon Bernardino-
