Cambosa Sr., Domingo, Fallorina off to good start in J & P 10 Ball Cup 2019

DMC Entertainment Production Management top honcho Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr., Aria Pool Things boss Mia Domingo and veteran campaigner Mark Fallorina got off to a blazing start by posting victories in the opening round of the J & P 10 Ball Cup 2019 held at the Superbowl 3rd level, Makati Cinema Square in Makati City.

Cambosa Sr. beat Roman Gonzalo, 5-3, Domingo trounced Gerry Tugade, 5-3, while Mark Fallorina subdued Alvin Ingal, 5-1.

“The first round is one of the toughest rounds in any tournament. It usually sets the tone of how you’re going to perform,” said Cambosa Sr.

"We hope to perform well in this event," Domingo said for her part.

Dart Bonode, Dean Dayuday and Ronnel Manuel also opened with wins.

Bonode scalped Jun Diamante, 5-3, Dayuday outplayed Ding Tisoy, 5-2, while Manuel crushed Patricia Calleto, 5-2.

The P318,000 total pot prize 10-ball tournament offers P50,000 to the champion. It is supported by long-time billiards patron sportsman/businessman Aristeo "Putch" Puyat, Navigator Japan, Steel Blue and Wilde Blu.-Marlon Bernardino-
