
36th Goldenmind Chess Dalawahan Team Tournament set in June 2

THE 36th Goldenmind Chess Dalawahan Team Tournament 2000 average ratings will start off on June 2, 2019 at the third floor Alphaland Southgate Mall, Near MRT Magallanes Station, Edsa, Makati City.
"We do this to promote chess in the grass-roots level and discover future chess masters," said tournament director Alexandro "Allan" Osena.
"We also believe that by encouraging the youth to actively participate in sports like chess will keep them away from drugs," he added.
Prizes at stake is P12,000 plus trophy for the champion.
The second to fifth placers are set to pocket their respective cash prizes worth P8,000, P5,000, P3,000 and P2,000 each while minimum of five teams for the category winners will receive P1,500 each for the Top elementary, high school and college chess team, top female team, top senior (55 above) and top unrated team.
Individual top performers on boards 1 and 2 will likewise receive P1,000 each.
The event is supervised by the Chess Arbiter Union of the Philippines headed by Boyet Tardecilla, Marian Osena and Alexander "Alex" Dinoy.
Advance registration fee is P1,00 while Late Registration Fee or onsite is P1,200.
