Al Toyogon.
WBC Asian Silver Super Featherweight Champion "The Rock" Al Toyogon (10-2-1, 6 KO's) makes the second defense of his title against hard-hitting Japanese brawler Ryo Sagawa (6-1, 4 KO's) in the main event of "Night of Champions," the exciting boxing show staged by popular award-winning promoter Gabriel "Bebot" Elorde on Saturday, May 4 at Elorde Sports Complex in Para?aque, Metro Manila.
Guided by Elorde, the 21-year-old Toyogon, born in Gingoog, Misamis Oriental, claimed his WBC Asian Silver title in an exciting knockdown-filled clash against tough Nathan Bolcio at Mall of Asia last September.
Following, he successfully defended strap in a 12 round battle against taller fast and furious samurai warrior Ryusei Ishii last January.
Ryo Sagawa, 24, is next in line and second Japanese challenger craving Toyogon's crown.
Will he be able to grab it from "The Rock?"
Four more title fights complement the entertaining boxing show, including Leyte?o Jun Blazo engaging rugged veteran Benezer Alolod of Santa Rosa, Laguna, for the vacant WBC Asian Bantamweight Belt.
