26th year-old Apollo Agapay, 3rd placer in the 2nd Chook-to-Go National Rapid Chess Championship last year and former stalwart of University of Perpetual Help Systems of Laguna chess team and 21 year-old Keiffer Pelias, top player of Letran-Calamba which won the 2018 NCAA-South Chess Championship lead the early entries for 1st Cabuyao Dental Club Non-Master Chess Tournament which will be held in Centro Mall, Cabuyao City, Laguna on Sunday, March 3, 2019.
Agapay and Pelias, are products of Cabuyao City Chess Club under Dr. Fred Paez & Rico Virtucio.
Other contenders are Laguna Secondary Girls Champion Alexandra Sydney Paez, former National PRISAA Champion Spencer Real and former Cabuyao City Champions Allan Pelias and Roy Sorre.
