
FIDE arbiter seminar in Makati City

A FIDE Arbiter's Seminar is going to organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines under the auspices of FIDE to be held on December 7 to 10, 2018 at the Tiara Oriental Hotel Malugay corner Talisay Streets, San Antonio Village in Makati City.
The lecturer will be International Organizer and International Arbiter Casto "Toti" Abundo, FIDE lecturer and the language of the Seminar will be English.
The Seminar will give Fide Arbiter norms and titles, according to the Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters.
Meanwhile, the staging of Challenger Division, 2249 and below of the 17th Asian Continental Chess Championships gets underway on December 10 to 18, 2018 at the same venue.
Open to all players of national federations affiliated with FIDE whose rating is ELO 2249 and below. All players must have FIDE ID number in the event offers a top purse of P50,000 and a trophy.
The second to tenth placers will receive P35,000, P25,000, P15,000, P10,000, P8,000, P6,000, P5,000, P4,000 and P3,500, respectively. 11th to 15th place will earn P3,000 each while 16th to 20th place will get P2,500 each.
Adjudged category winners for the Best Female, Best Junior under 20 below, Best Kiddie under 14 and below and Best Senior 55 and above will receive P750 each.
Registration fee is P2,500.
Last day of registration will be on December 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 7:00pm at the venue due to limited space the organizing committee will only accept good for 120 players.
