Barroso Chess Cup set in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon

EVERYTHING is set for the staging of Barroso Chess Cup, NCFP rated event on October 13 and 14, 2018 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
"This is part of our grassroots development program,? said tournament director John Ian Barroso.

The two-day event (October 13 and 14, 2018 ) will feature four division tournament, Open Elementary, Open College and High School, Open Blitz and Open Rapid.

According to Chief Arbiter NA Cecilio "Ely" Acas that cash prizes await winners with the champion in the Open Elementary division going home with P4,000 and a trophy.

Cash prizes of P2,000 and P1,000 and a trophies will go to the second and third placers, respectively.

The fourth to 10th placers will each settle for P500 and a medals.

Special prizes for the Top Open Under 10, Top Local Boys and Top Local Girls will each receive for P300.

The champion in the Open College and High School, Open Blitz and Open Rapid division will likewise to receive P4,000, P5,000 and P7,000, respectively.

Registration fee for the Open Elementary is P200, for the Open College and High School is P200, for the Open Blitz is P250 and for the Open Rapid is P300.
