
Vargas, Guevarra to grace Angeles Open Chess Tournament

PSSUPT ENRICO H. VARGAS, Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) director and PCINSP Francisco M.Guevarra Jr., Police Station 6 commander of Angeles City has been invited to grace the opening ceremony of the Challenge the Game Open Chess Tournament on July 14, 2018 at the Robinsons Mall, Balibago in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Joining them in the opening ceremony are tournament organizer SPO1 Gary Ca?on, Sgt. Hamsel Mandagan, Edward Serrano of Young Chess Players' Parents Association of Pampanga,Inc (YCPPAP) and Jose Fernando "Fer" Camaya of Angeles City Sports Office and other City Officials.
The one-day tournament, organized by SPO1 Gary Ca?on and sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP), will begin at 10:30 a.m.
The time control format is 20 minutes with three second delay will be given to each player.
At stake are P6,000 cash prizes plus elegant trophy for the Open champion and P1,000 plus elegant trophy for the kiddies Under 12 category, 1900 and below rating only winner.
