In flyweights, hard-swinging Cebuano Kevin Jake "KJ" Cataraja (6-0, 5 KO's) kept his unblemished record intact after annihilating Lony Cadayday in the very first round of their combat scheduled for eight in Pinoy Pride 41 Saturday night in Cebu.
The 22-year old Cadayday (4-2-2, 1 KO) was game, though no match for skills and power of Catareja.
Cataraja downs Cadayday.

ESNETH DOMINGO DECISIONS VILLAFLOR, STAYS UNBEATEN
Also, unbeaten 18-year-old ALA fighter Esneth Domingo (7-0, 4 KO's) of Sultan Kudarat scored a unanimous decision victory over Negros Oriental boxer John Kenan Villaflor (6-3-3, 2 KO's).
MACAPOBRE DEBUTS WITH A WIN
In the first combat of the exciting evening of boxing, debutant Jeno Macapobre (1-0, began his pro boxing career with the right foot by scoring a W by points over Cebuano Rolien Getalada who hasn't seen a win in four outings.

FILIPINO WORLD CHAMPIONS MELINDO AND NIETES IN ATTENDANCE
In attendance during Pinoy Pride 41, taking photos and talking to fans was the newly crowned IBF Jr Flyweight World Champion Milan Melindo (36-2, 13) who captured his red and gold belt by knocking out then-champion Akira Yaegashi in just one round last May in Tokyo.
The Filipino Melindo - who is promoted by ALA Boxing - will be defending his title for the first time on September 16 here in Cebu.

Also present was 3-division world champion and reigning IBF Flyweight Donnie Nietes. Nietes, who is another ALA fighter, won the vacant IBF title by outsmarting Thai fighter Komgrich Nantapech last April here in Cebu.
Tonight's card Pinoy Pride 41: New Generation warriors was a production of ALA Boxing Promotions whose president and CEO is Michael Aldeguer.
