Hard-swinging 24 year-old southpaw Al Rivera (18-3, 16 KO's) of Northern Samar mercilessly destroyed experienced Indonesian fighter Rusmin Kie Raha (15-13-3, 3 KO's) via effective KO in round 4 during their rough rumble in the super lightweight division Saturday night at the Brusmick Commercial Center in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

The match-up was the latest successful production of promoter Ariel G. Araja.

In the co-main event, super bantamweight Ernesto Saulong (21-2-1, 8 KO's) outpointed veteran Boholano fighter Michael Escobia (11-16-1, 3 KO's) in their 10-rounder knuckles festival.

Their last bell sounded with Saulong on top on points in all three scorecards; a unanimous decision triumph for the Mindoro-born fighter.

In a combat in the 105-lbs division, Negros Occidental boxer Alvin Tayo (2-2-1, 2 KO's) and Jhon Jhon Faminiano (1-13-4, 0 KO's) fought to a draw in their 6-rounder private war.

In bantamweights, 20-year-old Manile?o southpaw Jerry Ca?ada (1-3-2, 1 KO) claimed the very first victory in his pro boxing career after prescribing a rough TKO in round 3 to the brave Jhomar Pesayco (1-1, 0 KO's).

Their fight was a scheduled 4-rounder, but did not make it there.

In the evening's first combat, promising 18-year-old flyweight Prince Andrew Lauro (left in the pic above), scored his 4th victory of the year by claiming a TD (Technical Decision) win over southpaw warrior Reymar Condes (1-1, 1 KO) of Bacolod.

The TD in favor of Lauro came in effect after Condes suffered a dangerous cut in his right eye for which the referee following recommendation of the ring doctor waived the fight off.

Lauro (4-0, 3 KO's) was ahead in the scorecards and still undefeated.

Saturday night's fight card in Santa Rosa was another production of active fight promoter Ariel G. Araja of Brunsmick Boxing Promotions. Matchmaker Art Monis of Hardstone Monis Boxing Gym.
