Mindanao promotional company Marban Boxing scored a knockout win with its non-stop action card "Bakabakan Sa Kitaotao Kuntra Droga" last Sunday at Kitaotao Gym in Bukidnon; and promoter Charlemagne Marban III has promised to boxing fans in Central Mindanao that he will do more.

In the exciting main event, 21-year-old Jr. Flyweight Mike Kinaadman (6-2-2, 4 KO's) of Iligan City won by unanimous decision over brave Ramel Antaran (2-6-1, 0 KO's).

Regardless of his modest boxing record, Antaran, 20, climbed the ring fearless to fight his best, which he did during the 8 rounds of the combat, finishing standing,

During the roughest moments, in his fighting career, Antaran has never given up. Somehow through storms of leather, he has been able to made it through; never been knocked out.

CO-MAIN EVENT: IBGOS DESTROYS PARCON IN 3

In the tough co-main event between southpaws, young hard-hitting Junjesie Ibgos (12-2, 10 KO's of Zamboanga del Sur did not waste any time in roughly beating up 34-year-old journeyman Philip Parcon (26-24-3, 8 KO's) who could not handle that amount of incessant pouring of knuckles, abandoning the combat in round 3.

Most boxing fans at Kitaotao Gym were expecting an Ibgos win and they were right. The fight seemed to be a mission impossible for the veteran Parcon, and that proved to be the case.

Early on, Parcon tried to use his experience in 58 fights and battled the best he could. But to no avail as mega-bombs of high caliber thrown by Ibgos began landing merciless non-stop on Parcon.

The 22 year-old Junjessie Ibgos got the win he wanted. And now he wants more scalping. (Ibgos is the one on the left in the story's photo)

The fight was a scheduled 8-rounder in the Super Lightweight division.

GAABON EDGES AGRABIO

In another intense war, heavy underdog Ramie Gaabon scored his very first victory in seven fights after scoring a close split decision win over 20 year-old newcomer Jhesriel Agrabio who was in this second pro fight.

Agrabio's debut fight was just last April, a stunning KO win in less than two minutes into the first round. In that first combat Agrabio looked fast and impressive.

That's way Gaabon, who hails from the City of Golden Friendship Cagayan de Oro, was the underdog.

Fans were wondering if Gaabon (0-6 0 KO's) would be knocked out by the tough Quezon City Agrabio.

But the determined Gaabon would prove everybody wrong. Gaabon (1-6, 0 KO's) fought his heart out and two ringside judges saw him victorious, good enough for a first split decision win.

In conclusion, this 4-rounder in the 118-lbs division was a very close affair, though not easy at all and a rematch might be needed.

DEBUTANT BAYUBAY VAPORIZES MONGOON IN ONE

In a preliminary bout, rookie Joseph Bayubay (1-0, 1 KO) debuted BIG with a round one knock out win over Daryl Monggon (1-4, 1 KO).

The quick rumble was a 4-rounder in the flyweight division.
