Amanda Serrano.
One of the cutest women fighters in the sport of boxing, Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano (32-1-1, 24 KO's), the reigning WBO Bantamweight World Champion, will be back in fighting mode on Friday July 21 in the ring of the Sheraton Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, informed PR Best Boxing Promotions.

Amanda, an amazing 5-division world champion, will be making the first defense of her recently acquired WBO Bantamweight World Title against an opponent to be revealed by her promoter PR Best Boxing Promotions at a presser scheduled for Wednesday (June 21) at Casino Metro at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The presser is due to start at 11 AM.

A remarkable fighting queen, Amanda who won by TKO the IBF world crown at super featherweight, went on to Argentina to knock out the lightweight world champion in six rounds; then, surprisingly, came down two weight classes to win world title at featherweights, which she did with an a crushing knockout victory in less than 2 minutes into the fight.

That was not enough. Late last year the 5' 5" Amanda captured the super bantamweight world belt with another knock out win, this time in less than 1 minute into round 1, and just two months ago, the dangerous beauty born in San Juan de Puerto Rico came down another weight class to batter tough veteran Dahiana Santana in an 8th round stoppage to claim the WBO bantamweight world title.

Five world titles in five different world classes and all five world belts were won by way of knock out.

Remarkably, her last title win made the southpaw Amanda Serrano the only female boxer in history to win world crowns in five different weight classes; and her astounding, cool story continues with her next battle on July 21.

JEYVER CINTRON AND JONATHAN OQUENDO IN THE UNDERCARD

In addition to Amanda Serrano's world title defense, the July 21 fight card at the Sheraton Convention Center in San Juan Puerto Rico will feature a most welcomed young new-comer in pro boxing: two-time Olympian Jeyvier Cintr?n (1-0, 0 KO's).

Cintr?n, 22, who represented Puerto Rico in the Olympic games of London 2012 and Rio 2016, has recently signed with Top Rank. He fights as a 118-pounder and is trained by durable former 2-division world champion "Iron Boy" Iv?n Calder?n.

Also in action on July 21 will be former world-title challenger Jonathan "Polvo" Oquendo (26-5, 16 KO's), making his ring return.

It will be Oquendo's come back fight after losing by points to then hard-hitting Argentinian WBA 130-Lbs World champion Jesus Andres Cuellar (28-2, 21 KO's) in December of 2015.

Its likely that Oquendo will venture into the lightweights as the Bayamon native, who in August turns 34, feels that he still has what is required to compete at a top level. Fans will find out.

The July 21 card at the Sheraton Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a production of PR Best Boxing Promotions, president Ivan Rivera, vice-president Peter Rivera.
