CEBU, Philippines - The much anticipated Bohol card featuring in the main event tough Mexican National Champion Emmanuel "Veneno" Dom?nguez against Undefeated Filipino WBO #12 Jack Tepora (20-0, 15 KO's) in dispute of the WBO 122-lbs Oriental belt has been postponed, informed today Jerome Calatrava of Cebu's Omega Gym.

"Yes, the whole Bohol card on July 7, which was the 5th installment of 'Who is Next' Boxing Series has been postponed because one of the stars in the co-main event, boxer Christian Araneta got injured severely during training. Very unfortunate," said Calatrava.

"Araneta tore a muscle in his shoulder. It occurred during sparring. He threw a power punch that did not land on body mass as his sparring partner was able to avoid the blow by quickly moving to the side. That is when Araneta got injured," concluded Jerome Calatrava, an executive for Cebu's Omega Sports.

Araneta underwent surgery over the weekend and the card will be rescheduled at a date TBA.

The unbeaten hard-swinging Araneta (14-0, 12 KO's), was slated for an exciting rematch against his world-ranked nemesis Jessie Espinas with Araneta defending his WBO Oriental 108-lbs belt.

In their first battle nearly two years ago, Araneta stopped Espinas in the 8th chapter.

However, Espinas has improved enormously since that rough evening, becoming a much better, confident, effective fighter, getting ranked among the top Jr. Flyweights in the planet: WBO #5, WBA #5 and IBF #9.

Yes, Espinas was ready and eager to get his boxing redemption. Sadly for us fans, Araneta vs Espinas 2, as well as "Veneno" Dominguez vs Jack Tepora, will have to wait.
