LABOR DAY CHESSFEST IN SAN MATEO MAY 1

The 2nd Cayetano "Jun" R. Santos Jr. Open Chess Tournament dubbed as Labor Day Chessfest kicks off on May 1, 2017 (Monday), nine am at the JRS chess club in Ampid 1, San Mateo, Rizal.
The champion will receive Chess Trophy + P3,000, 2nd place Chess Trophy + P2,000 and 3rd place Chess Trophy + P1,000.
Best kiddy will also get Chess Medal + P300 while Best lady will take home Chess Medal + P300 .
"The tournament is a one day event and open to all chess players, regardless of sexes and ages. Titled player or chess masters can also join in the said chessfest coincide the celebration of Labor Day." said Cayetano "Jun" R. Santos Jr., a well-known chess supporter in San Mateo, Rizal.
"We do this chess tournament to promote chess in the grassroots level and to discover future chess champion and chess masters," he added.
Tournament registration fee is P150 however, ladies, kiddies and seniors will pay only P100 each.
