George Kokkalenios, attorney for Team Gunn, shared with the media that both sides have been nearing agreeing to fight terms over the past few weeks and the bare knuckle super fight could happen as early as November.

Sources connected with Team Tyson divulged last week that the former ?most feared man in boxing? has agreed to throw hands with undefeated king of bare knuckle boxing Bobby Gunn in a winner take all super fight with a purse of $1 million.

Though it?s been years since he exited pugilism, Tyson is still recognized as one of the most dangerous punchers to step within the squared circle.

Gunn, a former gloved champion, has really made his name and mark for himself for what he has achieved in the bare knuckle world. Over 70 wins by knockout without suffering a defeat, he has been covered and featured by Rolling Stone Magazine, Bleacher Report, Showtime Sports and Men?s Journal.

?This is the Bare Knuckle Boxing superfight fans want, and we are going to deliver it to them,? says Scott Burt, President of the BKB Hall of Fame in Belfast, NY. ?Mike Tyson is a gloved boxing icon and former champion, and a future hall of famer. Bobby Gunn is the first living and active world heavyweight champion to be inducted into the BKB Hall of Fame. Now these two colossal legends will step to the line and compete for the John L. Sullivan heavyweight belt held by Gunn. We wanted to match up the best against the best, in a winner take all championship fight. And in the end only one man will be standing at BKB?s World Heavyweight Champion.?

Tyson has acknowledged Gunn?s recent publicity through social media outlets, and fans have dreamt of this mega matchup for several years, though it seemed more of a pipe dream than anything else.

As the popularity of both bare knuckle boxing and Bobby Gunn has continued to flourish in recent months, it is without doubt that Tyson has seen his chance to make his return to the original form of combat, though awaiting him across the line will be Gunn.

Specific terms, location and date of this superfight have yet to be released to the media, though sourced noted that they plan to materialize this dream fight before years end.
