Jun ?Hercules? Doliguez (18-0-2, 14 KOs) of Sarangani Province will put his unbeaten record on the line against Francisco Pina (5-6-4, 2 KOs) of Baja California, Mexico Saturday night at the Tecate Arena in Tijuana.
Both boxers met the contracted weight for their scheduled 8 round super featherweight contest in the undercard of former world champ, Giovani Segura.
Doliguez weighed at 127.2 lbs. while Pina was 126.8 lbs. in the official scales Friday afternoon.
The Pinoy pug out of the Saved by the Bell Promotions of Batangas will be assisted by head trainer Benny de la Pena and Dagul Martinez in his corner. The team spent time in the gym of Mexican legend, Erik Morales, also in Tijuana, to prepare for this fight.
Morales even gave Doliguez pointers and tips during their time at his gym, which is greatly appreciated by Team Doliguez.
The card is promoted by Zanfer Promotions and will be carried live by TV networks Azteca in Mexico and UniMas in the United States.
