TALISAY CITY OPEN BOXING, 18TH FEB.

True to it's tradition of being a rich and fertile spawning grounds of boxing champions, Barangay Lagtang in Talisay City, Cebu, will again be hosting an open (amateur) boxing event in line with the annual fiesta celebration. The city boasts of having former WBA flyweight champion Bernabe Villacampo, former WBC flyweight titleholder Frank Cedeno, ex-IBF miniflyweight champ Eric Chavez and ex-WBC 108-pound kingpin Rolando Pascua call their home.

Headlining the FISTS OF FIRE: "City of Champions, Talisay City vs. City of Champions, Mandaue City" open boxing card on 18th Feb., 8 pm at Barangay Lagtang gymnasium will be the city's pride, 2-time Palarong Pambansa and Batang Pinoy/ Philippine National Youth Games (National championships) gold medalist Kit Ceron Garces vs. Mandaue City's Mark Rotilles, gold medalist in 2013 Batang Pinoy (Visayas area) and silver medalist in 2014 Batang Pinoy (National Championships).
