Hours ago at the C Robert Lee Activity Center - Hawaiian Gardens, in the main event of a nine-bout card, Diego Magdaleno knocked out his late replacement foe, Jorge Pazos in the 4th round of a lightweight 10-rounder.

In the co- featured bout, younger brother, Jesus Magdaleno totally routed Roberto Castaneda in five torrid rounds en route to a 5th round stoppage. Castaneda went down twice in the 2nd round and when he got decked again in the 5th round, Referee Jack Reiss decided to stop the fight to save him from further punishment. Castaneda was unbowed in defeat as he went down swinging.

In other bouts, Fil-am junior lightweight Adam Fiel scored his second professional win with a 4-round unanimous decision over debuting Luis Pelayo.
