Manila, Philippines -- Veteran campaigner Anna Tulauan has all the opportunities to be the world?s best.

But for now, she is determined to follow in the footsteps of Filipino world champions like Rubilen "Bingkay" Amit, US open runner-up Iris Ranola, Mary-Ann Basas, Cheska Centeno and US based Mary Rakin, among others.

Tulauan will make her return to the pool world after a long hiatus when she competes in this year?s Billiards Congress American Pool League on July 16 to July 26 at the Rio All Suite Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"The Billiards Congress American Pool League in US will be a good test for me, that's why I prepared well for it," said Tulauan , who is also known in pool circuit as "Slipperz".

?I still believe she can become a world champion,? added Ramon "Maestro Monching" Mistica, one of the trainor of Tulauan.
Tulauan is a habitue of One Side Pocket in Malate, Manila and the famous Star Billiards Center in Grace Village, Quezon City.

At this point, the top women's player of the star-studded Jonathan Sy's Negros Billiards Stable quest for honor and glory received a needed shot in the arm from her long-time benefactor American Clay Graviet, owner of Vanduser Cafe Billiards hall in Vanduser, Missouri.

Other US pool tournaments lined up for Tulauan are the annual Joss Northeast 9-ball tournament, and the US Open 9-ball, the longest running billiards tournament in the United States.-Marlon Bernardino-
