Macao, China - In the only heavyweight fight of the day here in China, Andy Ruiz Jr. (21-0, 15 KOs) of Mexicali, Mexico, battered Tor Hamer (21-3, 14 KOs) of New York that ended in Hamer quitting in his stool at the end of the 4th of a scheduled 10 rounder.

Ruiz Jr, and Hamer exchanged against each other earl in the fight but Ruiz Jr. connected more and that slowed down Hamer physically by Round 3.

Ruiz sensed it and unleashed bombs from his 250 plus pound frame in the 3rd and the entire 4th round.

The combination of exhaustion and Ruiz's vicious punches were too much for the New Yorker and he did not bother leaving his stool after 4 rounds here at The Cotai Arena, site of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios mega fight later in the evening.

Ruiz Jr. remained unbeaten in 21 fights and retained his NABF heavyweight title as well as added WBO international heavyweight title.
