Macao, China - Chinese star and two time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming (3-0) wowed his countrymen here in Macao, China via an electrifying victory over Juan Toscano of Mexico 4-1, 1 KO).
Shiming bloodied Toscano and won convincingly in all three of the official's cards at ringside at The Cotai Arena inside The Venetian Resort.
A nasty cut opened in Toscano's face, underneath his right eye by the 3rd, a product of Shiming's aggression in the round. He was pummeled by Shiming who wanted to finish the fight in spectacular fashion.
Toscano was able to finish the bout but was clearly bothered by the cut and the speed of his opponent who was cheered by his fans here.
Shiming won via scores of 60-54 and 60-52 and surfaced as the winner between two unbeaten upstart fighters from two different continents.
