Undefeated Jun Doliguez of Malungon, Sarangani Province and his Mexican opponent both passed the weight requirements for their 10 round featherweight (126 lbs.) fight tomorrow night.

According to Saved By The Bell Promotions? Danny Anuran who is in Mexico with Team Doliguez, the Filipino weighed in at 56.5 kg. (rounded to 125 lbs.) while his foe, Ruben Tamayo of Ciudad de Obregon, Sonora, Mexico was at 57.1 kg. (rounded to 126 lbs.)

Zanfer Promotions earlier announced in its website and in a press release that Tamayo weighed in at 130 lbs. while Jun Dol?guez is at 128.5 lbs.

Anuran abides by his figures and stated that he was closely monitoring the scales with head trainer Benny de la Pena. He also maintained that the fight is at featherweight and has a contracted weight of 126-127 pounds and not at the super featherweight or lightweight level.

Doliguez boasts of an unbeaten mark of 16-0-1, with 12 coming by stoppages while Tamayo is 22-4-3, with 16 knockouts in his credit.

The fight will be held at the International Convention Center in Merida in the Yucatan State of Mexico. Doliguez vs Tamayo is the co-headliner of the night alongside an interim WBO straw weight championship match between unbeaten fighters, Julian Yedras and Carlos Buitrago.

This will be Doliguez?s debut under the Mexico based Zanfer Promotions, promoter of popular Mexican fighters such as Juan Manuel Marquez, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Jorge Arce, among others.
