Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao is in the hospital. He checked in at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital yesterday after reportedly complaining of stomach problems. He has been confined on and off at the hospital because of a recurring stomach ailment.
However, the planned San Miguel Beer commercial featuring Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao and legendary Mexican Erik ?€œEl Terrible?€? Morales is on. The third man in the commercial, celebrated trainer Freddie Roach is flying in on Wednesday to be part of what is certain to be a big hit with the fans.
Roach earlier told Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today that the shooting of the commercial had been postponed. It appears that some SMC executives were upset over the fact that the plan to shoot a commercial with the protagonists in an epic trilogy had leaked out.
Morales and his pretty wife planed in a couple of nights ago and checked in at the plush Diamond Hotel along Roxas Boulevard and were scheduled to visit one of the most breathtaking international resorts in the south for a couple of days. Morales was seen at Rockwell in Makati City yesterday. Pacquiao planed in from Davao City where he was godfather at a christening after attending a derby at the Makati Coliseum.
