Yan Marcos to Face Local Favorite Dwyke Flemmings Jr. for the WBA Intercontinental & USBA Super Welterweight Championships
(February 3, 2026) On Saturday, April 11, 2026, WBO 5-, IBF 9- and WBC 11-ranked Vito “White Magic” Mielnicki Jr. (22-1, 13 KOs) of Roseland, New Jersey, will defend his WBC USA, IBF USBA and WBO Global Middleweight Championships against Omar Ulises “La Bala” Huerta (15-0-1, 13 KOs) of San Ysidro, California via Tijuana in the 10-round middleweight main event from the Adrian Phillips Theater at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and broadcast live on ProBoxTV (7:00 pm ET).
In the 10-round co-feature, undefeated Cuban Yan Marcos (14-0, 10 KOs) of Miami via Havana will take on also undefeated local favorite Dwyke Flemmings Jr. (11-0, 10 KOs) Paterson, New Jersey, for the WBA Intercontinental & USBA Super Welterweight Championships.
Also featured is a 10-round super welterweight battle between all-action Raul Garcia (15-2-1, 12 KOs) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and rugged Quinton Randall (15-3-1, 3 KOs) of Katy, Texas.
Tickets for ProBoxTV’s “The Contender Series: Mielnicki vs. Huerta” start at $65 and are available through Ticketmaster or at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall Box Office: (609) 348-7512, starting at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Wednesday, February 4.
Before turning professional in July 2019, Mielnicki was a four-time Junior National Golden Gloves Champion, a USA Junior National Champion and was also on the USA National High-Performance Team. As a professional, the 23-year-old is already the reigning IBF USBA, IBO Americas and WBC USA Middleweight Champion. Mielnicki will be returning to fight in his home state after winning the WBO Global Middleweight Championship last November at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an impressive ninth-round TKO of previously undefeated Samuel Nmomah of Nigeria.
