After a string of losses in Mexico and Japan in obvious mismatches which have been roundly condemned, the distressing trend continues as two more Filipino boxers have lost in fight cards in Thailand.
Super featherweight Amor Tino suffered a 3rd round TKO at the hands of WBC Asian Boxing Council champion Pharanpetch Tor Buamas who successfully defended his title six times and improved his record to 12-0 with 9 knockouts.
Tino who lost five of his last six fights with one draw dropped to 14-14-3 with 4 knockouts.
Meantime 21 year old minimum weight Jerson Luzarito dropped a ten round decision in a WBC Youth light flyweight title fight against another Thai Yodmongkol Vor Saengthep who made his 13th successful title defense.
The Thai champion moved up to 30-2 with 18 knockouts while Luzarito dropped to 7-3-3 with 3 knockouts.
