
EXCITING NEW SHOW, 'GAMEDAY WEEKEND' STARTS JUNE 29 ON BALLS

The sports world on TV has gotten more interesting with the exciting new show "GAMEDAY WEEKEND" which will be launched on June 29 on the ABS-CBN cable channel "BALLS.
Popular host Boom Gonzales who anchors the daily sports show "Gameday with Boom" on Balls and who has just returned from ABS-CBN'S coverage of the epic NBA Finals along with TJ Manotoc in which the Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs in a classic seventh game will be joined by two charming and talented women in sports, Gretchen Ho and Mia Cabalfin who will let viewers in on how to ?DO: MORE.?
A popular members of the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team, Gretchen Ho has a following of over 150,000 on her Twitter account alone while Mia Cabalfin has been a host and producer of several shows on Balls Channel and Studio 23 and has also made appearances on News Central, The UFL Show, Touchline, Sports TV and Gameday with Boom Gonzales.
?Gameday Weekend? is a spin off from Boom Gonzales' "Gameday" aired weekdays on Balls which mostly delivers sports news. "Gameday Weekend" on the other hand is a lifestyle-oriented sports show held in partnership with Rexona that is built for the weekend warriors, with segments ranging all the way from prominent athletes? achievements, interviews with fitness experts, features on the latest sports gear?all serving as examples of doing more with the right amount of confidence.
Viewers, particularly those in the fitness and athletic oriented younger generation will get a glimpse into how people in the world of sports choose to do more than what their own sports entail.
Spicing up the show will be surprise co-hosts from the widely popular Philippine Azkals football team.
The inaugural episode of ?Gameday Weekend? will be telecast 5;30 p.m. on Saturday (June 29) and on Balls Channel (SkyCable channel 34) and on Studio 23 at 9:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
