Some exciting fights are being lined up for the undercard when WBO minimum weight champion Merlito Sabillo makes the first defense of his world title against Colombia?s Jorlie Estrada at the plush Solaire Resort Hotel and Casino along Manila Bay?s Entertainment City on July 13.

While Filipino fight fans are eager to see the hard-hitting Sabillo who is undefeated with a record of 21-0 with 11 knockouts after his impressive 8th round TKO over highly fancied Luis De La Rosa last March 9. ALA Promotions headed by its president Michael Aldeguer is working tirelessly to ensure that there is an exciting undercard to add to the attraction of the initial venture at Solaire in partnership with the giant broadcast network ABS-CBN.

Challenger Jorlie Estrada who is ranked No. 6 by the WBO is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jorge Ballesteros in a rematch after scoring a 1st round TKO in their first encounter on March 17 last year.

One of the more promising young fighters on the card will be Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation super flyweight champion Arthur ?El Matador? Villanueva who retained his title with a superb performance against tough and resilient Marco Demecillo last April 20 in Davao City.

Villanueva who won the OPBF crown with a twelve round unanimous decision over Japan?s Taiki Ito at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on December 19, 2012 will be eyeing the vacant WBO Asia Pacific 115 pound title when he battles Mexico?s punching machine Arturo Badillo who has a record of 19 knockouts in 21 wins with 4 losses against top class opponents.

The 26 year old Badillo fought the talented WBA champion Hugo Cazares for the title but got caught with a wicked shot and lost by a 3rd round knockout in Sinaloa, Mexico on July 9, 2011.

Reports out of Mexico said Badillo never had a chance against the more experienced and skilled Cazares who dropped the challenger three times en route to the stunning win.

Former two-time title challenger AJ ?Bazooka? Banal will make his return following a surprising 9th round TKO loss to Thailand?s Pungluang Sor Singyu in a WBO world bantamweight title fight last October while another promising youngster Albert ?The Prince? Pagara who is ranked No. 4 OPBF super flyweight will also see action on the card. Banal is ranked No. 13 by the WBO.

No opponents have as yet been finalized for Banal and Pagara.
