Jun Doliguez.
With his expanding thrust in Asia, particularly Macau and soon Singapore, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is targeting promising Filipino fighters to include in his upcoming fight cards.

Arum told the Manila Standard that he had heard of undefeated featherweight Jun ?Hercules? Doliguez, the southpaw with a record of 16-0-1 with 12 knockouts and wishes to sign him up, promising that he would ?get the kind of exposure and treatment he deserves.?

He told us he wants to match Doliguez against Russia?s IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich, the 26 year old with a record of 16-0 with 8 knockouts who will clash with Maurico Javier Munoz of Argentina (26-3, 12 KO?s) on Top Rank?s card at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macao on July 27.

Doliguez had earlier indicated he would like to fight WBA featherweight champion Chris John of Indonesia but Arum said it wouldn?t be an attractive fight and said he could fight Gradovich or WBO champion Mikey Garcia down the road.

Arum said he thinks Doliguez ?is six months away from a title shot.?

Doliguez is managed by Elmer Anuran who spoke to Arum two days ago regarding the upcoming fight of Drian Francisco who was taken to Arum by trainer Justin Fortune.

Arum told us ?I spoke to Elmer Anuran and I?ll make sure his contract is enforced although Justin Fortune says the contract of Drian has expired.?

Anuran promised to send Arum a copy of his ?live? contract even as the astute promoter indicated ?I want to sign these kids up.?
