In a battle of the undefeated, flashy Filipino southpaw Drian Francisco clashes with similarly unbeaten Thai contender Phichitchok Singmannasak for the vacant WBO Intercontinental title that headlines an exciting card at the popular Mandaluyong City gym today.
In a championship doubleheader world-rated Rexon Flores takes on Thailand’s Wisan Sor Chanya for the vacant WBO Intercontinental light flyweight crown. The fights sponsored by Tanduay, the No.1 Rhum will be telecast on the top-rated weekly boxing show “The Main Event” on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. over RPN 9. Spicing up the fights will be the presence of captivating Viva Hot Babes Carla Samonte and Scarlet Bouffard who will act as Tanduay round girls.
Francisco who is 23 years old is regarded as one of the more promising fighters in the stable of promoter and manager Gabriel “Bebot” Elorde Jr. Francisco boasts of six knockouts in nine wins while his Thai opponent Phichitchok has an equally impressive record of 9-0 with 4 knockouts.
