Dethroned WBO/WBA flyweight champion Brian Viloria has met with his manager Gary Gittelsohn and decided to continue his career despite losing his title to Mexico?s Juan Francisco Estrada by a twelve round split decision at the Cotai Arena of the plush Venetian Resort Hotel in Macau last April 6.

Viloria who has twice come back from defeats to recapture his world titles, wants to regain the flyweight belts and is looking to earn a rematch with Estrada but realizes he?ll have to work his way back into contention after taking a bad beating from Estrada.

No. 1 ranked contender Milan Melindo of the famed ALA Gym is the mandatory challenger to Estrada with Top Rank promoter Bob Arum announcing a return to the Venetian in Macau for a Melindo-Estrada title showdown on July 27.

After his meeting with Gittelsohn, Viloria told the Manila Standard that his manager would meet with Arum over the next few weeks ?to look at available dates and negotiate a contract.?

Viloria said he will ?take a break for a little bit, perhaps a month off and see what?s available and what the possibilities are.?

Viloria said he Gittelsohn were looking to return to the ring ?maybe around September-October with a possible fight on the same card as Manny Pacquiao? although nothing was firm.

Arum earlier indicated Pacquiao would return to the ring after his shocking 6th round knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez last December 8, at the Venetian in Macau on the first or second week of October.
