
GENARO ?GINO? RODRIGUEZ IS REFEREE FOR VILORIA TITLE DEFENSE

WBO president Francisco ?Paco? Valcarcel who will be the supervisor for the fourth title defense of WBO/WBA flyweight champion Brian Viloria (32-3, 19 KO?s) against WBO No.9 ranked Juan Francisco Estrada (22-2, 18 KO?s) at the Cotai Arena of the luxurious Venetian Resort Hotel in Macao, China on Saturday has appointed Genaro ?Gino? Rodriguez as referee for the title fight.
The judges will be Michael Pernick, Robert Hoyle and Raul Caiz Sr.
Rodriguez who is from Chicago was the third man in the ring when Merlito Sabillo won the WBO minimum weight interim title with an 8th round TKO over Luis De La Rosa in Colombia on March 19 this year.
For the WBO junior lightweight title clash between Roman ?Rocky? Martinez (26-1-2, 16 KO?s) and undefeated Diego Magdaleno (23-0, 9 KO?s) the referee will be Raul Caiz Jr while the judges named by Valcarcel are Levi Martinez, Michael Pernick and Robert Hoyle. The WBO supervisor for this fight will be Luis Perez, the Chairman of the WBO Ratings Committee.
The last big fight refereed by Caiz Jr was the WBA super featherweight title clash between Takashi Uchiyama of Japan who won by an 8th round TKO over Bryan Vasquez in Tokyo last December 31.
