
DALUT BEATEN IN WBC ASIA BOXING COUNCIL TITLE FIGHT

Ronerex Dalut has lost by an 8th round TKO in a battle for the WBC Asian Boxing Council flyweight title against Thai champion Nawaphon Por Chokchai in Suphan Buri.
The time was 1:38 of the eighth round.
With the win the 21 year old Nawaphon maintained his unbeaten record at 12-0 with 9 knockouts while the 23 year old Dalut dropped to 8-10-1 with 2 knockouts.
Nawaphon won the title with a 3rd round TKO of Indonesia?s Alwi Alhabsyi on Oct0ober 11, 2011 and retainef the title with a close twelve round majority decision over Rey Megrino on January 17 last year before he scored a 5th round knockout over another Filipino Noel Adelmita on October 16.
In a supporting six round bout former world super flyweight champion Suriyan Sor Rungvisai won a unanimous decision over Elmar Francisco in a bantamweight bout.
With the win the 23 year old Rungvisai moved to 24-5-1 with 9 knockouts while the 26 year old Francisco fell to 16-17-2 with 4 knockouts.
