The Philippines Eusebio Baluarte has been hit for his ?clownish behavior? in a Pan Asia Boxing Association light middleweight title fight in Perth, Australia in which Baluarte was stopped in the fourth round at the WA Italian Club in Perth, Western Australia.

35 year old Daniel Dawson, nicknamed ?The Rock? dropped Baluarte three times in the fourth round with vicious body shots to force an automatic stoppage by referee Charlie Lucas at 1:25 of the round.

Boxing writer Neil Devey of the West Australian reported that Dawson who improved to 39-3-1 with 26 knockouts looked in fantastic condition and was way too good for Baluarte (19-8, 12 KO?s) whose tactic of holding up his arms and inviting Dawson to attack his body was described as ?ridiculous.?

Devey reported that Dawson tagged Baluarte with a solid left hook to the ribs at the end of the opening round with the Filipino seen rubbing his side.

Baluarte?s only hope appeared to be a wild right hand but Dawson who is ranked NO. 12 in the world by the WBA held his hands up to protect himself.

The Aussie boxing writer blasted Baluarte stating that ?annoyingly, the clownish behavior of Baluarte didn?t stop at the final bell and as soon as the fight was called off the Filipino boxer jumped straight to his feet and then found the energy to lift Dawson around the ring.?

Dawson who fought for the WBO world title and lost by a 10th round TKO to Serhiy Dzinziruk on May 134, 2010 overwhelmed the PABA?s No. 12th ranked, 26 year old Baluarte who was coming off back-to-back knockouts losing by a 3rd round KO to Japan?s Masahiro Mizumoto in Kobe last August 12 after losing by a 12th round TKO to Philippine welterweight champion Dennis Laurente last March 25.
