Anybody and everybody in media who has had the good fortune to meet, interact and work alongside Ricardo Jimenez, Angie Jackson and Lee Samuels know they are three of the very best people in Top Rank Promotions and indeed in the sport of boxing.
Their contribution to the sport was dutifully recognized when they were presented with Lifetime Achievement Awards during the WBC Legends of Boxing Museum Induction Ceremony in Los Angeles last Sunday.
Not only do Angie, Ricardo and Lee make media feel comfortable wherever they are, they make the task of covering Top Rank events whether it be for television, radio, print or the internet sites so much easier.
While covering fights of Nonito ?The Filipino Flash? Donaire for the giant broadcast network ABS-CBN, we?ve always found it a pleasure to work with them and a comfort to know they are around when you need them.
No matter how big or how small a problem you face they give it the same undivided attention and solve it in their own special way.
They are indeed a credit to Top Rank and Bob Arum and to the sport of boxing.
